Sanctuary Streets Baltimore is a group of volunteers, most of whom are immigrants or children of immigrants. Since 2017, we have been accompanying our immigrant community members to their court dates, ICE check-ins, or other interactions with authorities.
We never claim to be lawyers or social workers; we simply stand in solidarity with our community members by providing logistical and emotional support to those who are faced with our inhumane and complicated immigration system.
